Janice Love Named Director of College Research at SAC

​(Santa Ana, CA)—Rancho Santiago Community College District has selected Janice Love as director of college research at Santa Ana College. She will be responsible for planning, organizing, designing, coordinating, supervising, and implementing research. Love will lead to a comprehensive research program that will assess college, regional, and state issues. This program will support the college’s goals, programs, and projects.

Love, a new resident of Costa Mesa, brings 15 years of experience in researching, producing studies, and gathering and analyzing data. Most recently, she was the principal institutional research database analyst at University of California, Los Angeles. In that role she assembled data, produced quantitative and qualitative research studies, and analyzed data with regard to demographics, admissions, applications, and more. Previously, she was an institutional research analyst at University of California, Los Angeles. Prior to that, she was a research analyst and assessment coordinator at Los Angeles City College.

Love earned a M.A. in educational administration from California State University, Northridge, where she graduated with academic distinction. She earned a B.A. in economics from Stanford University, Palo Alto, California.
