(Santa Ana, CA)—Rancho Santiago Community College District has appointed Lee Krichmar as its new assistant vice chancellor of information technology services. In this key role, Krichmar is directly responsible for all aspects of information technology services, including hardware, software, communication systems, system security, district networks, databases, operations and support, maintenance and training, intranet/internet planning, implementation and programming.
Since 1999, Krichmar has served as director of information technology at Cerritos College. In that role, she directed all information technology initiatives, including departmental budgets, project management, and strategic planning. In addition, she oversaw the college’s administrative computing environment (PeopleSoft Enterprise Resource Planning), over 40 instructional computer labs, and faculty/staff computers.
Previously, she was manager of information systems for Ulico Insurance Group in Chino. There she managed all computer operations within an IBM AS/400 and Novell LAN/WAN environment. Prior to that, she served as vice president of information technology for VNA Home Health Systems in Santa Ana where she directed all aspects of the company’s information technology systems.
Krichmar earned a B.S. in computer information systems from DeVry Institute of Technology and a Master of Information Systems from Claremont Graduate University.
