The Rancho Santiago Community College District (RSCCD) is accepting applications for appointment to a vacant Trustee position. This appointee shall hold office until the next regularly scheduled election for school board members on November 8, 2016.

| August 10, 2016 | Deadline for receipt of applications in the Chancellor's office. |
| August 11, 2016 | Announcement of names of applicants and distribution of application materials to trustees. |
| August 15, 2016 | Board meeting to interview candidates and select and provisionally appoint the trustee. Trustee sworn in and assumes office. |
| August 16, 2016 | Publish the notice of appointment |
