Two, free one-week programs being held at
Rancho Santiago Community College District’s Digital Media Center
(Santa Ana, CA) – Rancho Santiago Community College District’s (RSCCD) Digital Media Center (DMC) will host ListoAmerica Creative Tech Learning Center this summer for the non-profit’s two-week International Summer STEM program.
“ListoAmerica focuses on the creative use of technology and maintains a space in Tustin with high-tech equipment for youth to learn and play with,” said William Izabal, executive director, ListoAmerica. “Partnering with the Digital Media Center allows us to bring our innovative learning programs to those youth in under-served areas of Orange County. We’re pleased the DMC is able to host this program.”
Local Orange County youth will participate in, learn and lead activities focused on the creative use of technology. From robotics to programming, participants will learn through workshops on topics including autonomous vehicles, coding for social good, virtual reality and holographic computing.
The program, free to youth ages 10 through 14, will run from Tuesday, July 16 through Friday, July 19; and Monday, July 22 through Friday, July 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at RSCCD’s Digital Media Center at 1300 S. Bristol Street in Santa Ana.
Limited space is still available. Registration is available at ListoAmerica.org or by calling Juliana Rosas at (657) 210-2089.
