Santa Ana College Choir to Present “Anime Spectacular” on November 18

Santa Ana, Calif. – Creating the “best anime soundtrack ever written,” the Santa Ana College Choir will perform “Anime Spectacular” on Saturday, November 18.

Conducted by Santa Ana College music professor and director of choral music Dr. Elliott Jones with arrangements by assistant music professor John Marr, this special event promises to be a concert to remember with the choir performing alongside a full rock band to help bring the music alive.

Jones and Marr mulled over hours of musical selections to develop an innovative choir concert with Sailor Moon, Cowboy Bebop, Neon Genesis-Evangelion, Spirited Away, My Neighbor Tontoro and Your Name being among the most well-known and popular anime that will be featured throughout the performance.

“We hope that you are going to love hearing this music as much as we love performing it,” said Marr.
