OC Center of Excellence

 

What is the Center of Excellence (CoE)?

The Orange County Center of Excellence is part of a statewide network that partners with business and industry, delivering regional workforce research customized for Community College decision making and resource development.

There are 10 Centers of Excellence statewide serving businesses in California by providing Environmental Scans and customized reports.

These reports can be used by businesses and industry to access current, relevant labor market information about wages, career ladders, and the offerings currently provided by community colleges.

  • Creating new and relevant programs and curriculum

  • Pursuing grants that lead to funding

  • Understanding workforce skill gaps from an industry perspective

  • Connecting to business and industry partners

Workforce Investment Boards can access our environmental scans and customized reports to understand all aspects of emerging high growth and economically vital sectors in California.

 

Economic developers are invited to join our partnership events to discuss needs and solutions for building workforce talent.
