The graduates range from 18 to 66 years of age. Ten families have more than one family member who will graduate, while three families will celebrate the graduation of twins.

The Class of 2012 valedictorian is Colton Long, a 22-year-old resident of Santa Ana. He graduates with a 4.0 grade point average, a degree in Liberal Arts: Arts, Humanities and Communication, and a degree in Liberal Arts: Multi-Cultural Studies. He is planning to continue his studies of cinematography and the motion picture arts at the University of Southern California.

“We are very proud of this year’s graduating class,” said Santiago Canyon College President Juan Vázquez. “The students in the class of 2012 have made the most of their time on our campus. On behalf of college faculty, staff and administrators, I wish each and every graduate much success in the future.”
